I agree. The hill in the middle of the field is very frustrating. Turf isn't really necesary, even though it would be nice. Just a flat, level field of grass/turf.

I for one will be glad for the new bleachers and it is LONG overdue. Now we need to do something about the grass. It is in very bad shape and will be even worse shape for the girls soccer team in the spring.

I see three problems with this team and this is from a third party that does not have a child in the game.

First of all, it is well known that the Glendale Varsity team is one of the smallest teams. Therefore, a strategy would be to use our speed, spread the offense, and utilize our talents in the areas of speed, passing and outside runs. It's quite apparent that an attempt to run up the middle is not an option for Glendale at this point.

Number 2, It is also apparent that we are stuck in a two man offense that cannot work. I am aware that there is an experienced quarterback in the ranks of the roster and we need him to step up to the plate and be a leader. Kudo's to the current QB but he is a far better running back than a QB.

Number 3, With the current state of the teams size, it should be apparent that the option play is not a choice. No offense to the linemen but if the offensive line is not able to withstand a defensive line onslaught, then the QB should be in a shotgun position to give him time and room for he or his backs and receivers to position themselves to make a successful play. Options for short slant-in passes over the oncoming defensive line could be utilized effectively.

These are only my opinions and I hope only good will come from them. I fully expect the Falcons to succeed in a big way this season. Just my thoughts. Go Get Em Falcons!

My best!

Go Falcons. As a long time Falcon Fan I just wanted to note a couple of things that I observed Friday. The ticket line. We really need to do something about this. If we stood in line at another school and missed the entire first quarter we would probably be upset. Get this guy some help. The field. Since we are somewhat undersized this year and speed is our biggest asset, then why were we playing in grass that is 10 inches deep. I couldn't even see the players shoe tops. Could somebody please mow the field before Friday.
Go Falcons!
