Southwest Missouri Coaches Football Association

Several people have asked myself and others about the “district” honors posted yesterday. Just to clarify, this team is comprised of all Class 5 and Class 6 teams in the area. The teams are Branson, Glendale, Joplin, Kickapoo, Lebanon, Neosho, Nixa, Ozark, Parkview, Rolla, Waynesville, and Willard. This group represents several districts. To be named to this team in any regard is a huge honor.

Congratulations to our Glendale players selected to the team and to Coach Heman for being named Coach of the Year.

I heard from Coach Heman and he was quick to point out that his award was entirely due to the players and assistant coaches on this years team.

Thank you to every player, coach and fan that made this year special.

Now, back to the weight room men! Championships are won in the offseason and in the weight room.
