The Youth Against Cancer (YAC) will be hosting a Pink Out at the game tomorrow night as well as honoring Breast Cancer survivors. There will be tattoos and lapel pins for sale and they will be accepting donations.

Come cheer the Falcons on to a win against Lebanon!

Remember Kickoff at 6:00pm!

MaMa Falcons Victorious!

Congratulations to Becky Fulshaw winner of the Coaches vs. MaMa Falcons Chili Cookoff.

The MaMas put up a good fight placing first and second with Melissa Randall coming in second.

Coach Shantz made a favorite of many of the players and came in placing third overall.

The cookoff was a alot of fun and would make a great event to expand next year to include all boosters, players, parents and coaches.

Thank you to everyone that took the time to make and bring an entry to the chili cookoff and start working on your recipes for next year!

The decision has been made to allow people to sit on the north side of the HPER, but be aware that Kickapoo students will be using that area to get to the additional seating provided.

Falcon Wear Orders

Swift Logos will be taking orders for Falcon Wear at Friday nights game only. Please print out the attached form and return with payment at the table at Friday’s Varsity game. This will be the only order taken and items will be delivered next Thursday evening.

Concession Stand Help Needed

Dear Parents,

We just got word that there will be a makeup Middle School game (Cherokee vs Hickory) tomorrow, October 26th at 5:30pm. We need FOUR volunteers for the concession stand.

This Thursday we are still in need of at least two volunteers to fill out the crew for the Varsity game. This is going to be a HUGE game – Senior Night AND post season play is on the line! If we want to continue the secondary concession stand then we will need three additional volunteers (five total).

Metro Night Wrap-up

METRO NIGHT – September 2010
I want to thank everyone who helped to make the Metro Night a success! A special thank you to Pat and Michelle at Metropolitan Grill for opening up the restaurant for our event and making the evening very special; our wait staff, Cody and Dawn, as well was great.
Thank you to everyone who donated the auction items for our silent auction! We had a terrific response and lots of great items. Among them were rounds of golf, football tickets, Glendale apparel, and a cabin at Little Bear south of Branson.
We had a fabulous response for the first year and hope to make this an annual event Homecoming weekend. The football team was terrific in helping to serve, wait tables, and were more than willing to be “auctioned “ off for a few hours to benefit their team. THANK YOU!
And…. In the end, the event raised over $6500 for the Glendale Falcon Football Team! All of the proceeds from this evening have been put into an account for a new scoreboard.
Again, Thank you to everyone…Coaches, players and families for making this night a success!
