Falcons Explode for First Victory of the Season
Our Falcons paid a visit to JFK Stadium, where we were the visitors taking on arch rival, the Kickapoo Chiefs. Despite an 0-5 start to the season, our Falcons showed their resiliancy and dominated from start to finish, crushing the Chiefs in an impressive 38-0 win!
By the end of the first quarter, our Falcons had scored 3 touchdowns for a 21-0 lead. By the half, we were up 31-0, with 3 of the first 4 touchdowns coming on 60+ yard runs from the line of scrimmage. The second half saw our defense continue to shut down the Chiefs’ offense, while we tacked on 1 more touchdown for the final 38-0 score. And all of this coming with zero completed passes (only 1 pass attempt all night) – the Falcons sported a dominant run attack in tonight’s terrific performance! This was the first of four district games – so at 1-0 in district play, the season has started over now.
Come out next Friday, October 10th, when our Falcons host the Ozark Tigers for Alumni Night. Tonight the Tigers defeated Parkview in the district opener for both of those teams, so this is already an important district game, with Glendale & Ozark both coming into the next district game at 1-0 - GO FALCONS!!!
