District Changes for the Upcoming 2008 Football Season
The 2008-2009 school year means time for football district realignment. However this year, there are several interesting changes, rather than just the usual one team add/drop from the Glendale/Kickapoo/Parkview District 5. We will now have a new district number (7), and two Missouri State Class 5 newcomers, Ozark & Nixa, will be joining our district (5 teams: Glendale, Kickapoo, Parkview, Ozark, Nixa). So district play begins in week #6 rather than week #8. Playoff changes are coming this next football season too - the top 2 teams from the district will advance to state playoffs, rather than just one.
