Freshman & JV Teams Split with Waynesville
Our Freshman Falcons hosted the Waynesville Tigers this past Monday night, and pulled a great victory out of a tight game. We won 15-14!
Our JV Falcons traveled to Pulaski county to meet the Waynesville Tigers on their home turf, and lost 19-30. It was actually a much closer game than the score might indicate. Our Falcons were down 19-23 toward the end of the game, and were driving for a potentially game-winning touchdown. Waynesville’s linebackers blitzed, sacked Kevin Redmon (in a play where Kevin unfortunately suffered a hand injury), forcing a fumble, which the Tigers recovered and ran in for a touchdown.
This week we will be looking for all our Falcon teams to sweep the Rolla Bulldogs! GO FALCONS!!!
