A big “thank you” goes out to the Sidwell family (Kyle Sidwell is a senior on the team) and their Godfather’s Pizza restaurant for providing the pizza at last week’s Jamboree (and for the players after the Power-Up Scrimmage as well) - the pizza was great, and the fact that they donated the pizza was even greater!
The Glendale Football Falcons played host to 3 area teams for a Jamboree this past Friday August 25th: Nixa (red), Mount Vernon (green jerseys), and Pierce City (white jerseys). Special thanks go to all the parents who helped with everything at the Jamboree!
After a sluggish start against Nixa, the Falcons showed some glimpses of greatness. But they will need to turn up the intensity level several notches before they travel to Camdenton for the season opener this coming Friday September 1st!
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Power-Up scrimmage last Friday night. It was a great success, as we collected over 100 cases of PowerAde! All our boys worked hard on the football field, and every day they get closer to being ready to kick off Glendale’s best season of football yet!
